  • I already have a website, how would I benefit from using iBeFound PageXtender?

    Often, business owners register multiple versions of their domain name to protect their brand. For example, here in New Zealand, most people register the .CO.NZ and the .NZ versions of their domain name. In some cases, they may also register the .COM version.

    Then they choose one of these as the main domain for their website and redirect the other secondary domain names to the main one. Beyond preventing someone else from having them, those secondary domain names are not really adding value to your business.

    By having PageXtender Website connected to one of your secondary domain names, you effectively add another web property to your online portfolio. This could result in your business appearing multiple times on page 1 for various search terms, giving you greater online exposure and more opportunity to get new customers/clients.

  • Do I need a Facebook Page to build a website with iBeFound PageXtender?

    Yes. iBeFound PageXtender connects to your Facebook Business Page and uses the content there for initial site creation and regular updates.

    You can create a Facebook Page yourself. Alternatively, we also provide a paid Facebook Page Creation service for business owners who are interested in having a Facebook business website but who do not currently have a Facebook Business Page.

    NOTE: a Facebook Page is different from a Facebook Profile. FB Profiles are personal accounts on Facebook while FB Pages are business accounts on Facebook created by companies, organisations, associations, or individuals.

  • What happens at the end of the trial period?

    When the trial period ends, you will still be able to access the website you created but in a limited, view-only mode in the backoffice. You will no longer be able to make any edits to it and the temporary domain will become unpublished so that the website is no longer live to the public.

  • Can I add extra pages and more info to my PageXtender Website?

    You have the ability to add as many extra custom pages as you wish to your website created with iBeFound PageXtender. We have a number of custom page layouts to make this easy to do.

  • Can the website SEO settings be modified?

    Yes. You can modify the SEO settings for any page (generated or custom) of the business website you've created using iBeFound PageXtender.

  • Can I integrate third-party widgets and tools into the website?

    Yes. You can use HTML embeds to integrate various 3rd-party widgets into custom pages of your Facebook-synced website generated by iBeFound PageXtender.

  • Why should I use a Custom Domain for my fb-synced Website?

    Using a custom domain instead of the generic web address generated when you create your Facebook business website will help you build your brand.

    NOTE: a paid account is required to be able to use a custom domain with your fb-synced Website. A FREE domain (.com, .co.nz OR .nz) is available with the annual (or higher) plan.

  • I already own a domain, can I use it with my fb-synced Website?

    Yes, you can. You will need to change the DNS settings for your domain. This is usually done inside your account with your domain registrar.

    Then you will need to Connect Your Domain in the settings of your Facebook-synced business website.

  • Does my PageXtender Website come with a blog?

    A News page is created on your website and contains the posts from your Facebook Page. This is effectively your website's microblog. As you post on your Facebook Business Page, your News page will be automatically updated with your new posts.

    If you need a more robust blog, there are a variety of options including LinkedIn, Medium, Blogger, or WordPress.com. Have a chat with us to determine what would be right for you.

  • Is it possible to create a multilingual PageXtender Website?

    Yes. The Google Translation Tool is already built into iBeFound PageXtender. To make your fb-synced Website available in multiple languages, turn on the Translation Tool and choose which languages you want to have your website translated into.

    This is the simplest way to make your website available in multiple languages but it is NOT the best, most professional option. Get in touch with us and we'll be happy to discuss alternative ways of creating a multilingual website.

  • Can I add an online store to my PageXtender Website?

    Yes indeed. A simple easy-to-use eCommerce platform is already built-in allowing you to set up an online store. You can accept Credit/Debit Card payments via PayPal or Stripe.

  • Can you register my domain name for me?

    Absolutlely. We can register your desired domain name/s with your business details in the domain account we have for managing client domains.

  • Do you provide email hosting?

    Email communication is a vital part of running a sucessful business and is best handled by an email service provider. We can set up email forwarders for you but we highly recommend that you get domain-specific email accounts with Google Suite or Office 365 or Zoho Mail. Contact us to discuss your options.

  • What happens to my PageXtender Website if Facebook is down?

    The content on your PageXtender Website is copied from your Facebook Page and hosted safely on our servers NOT on Facebook. So, if Facebook is down for any reasons, your website will still be live and available to the public.

  • Can I cancel my paid subscription?

    Absolutely! You are NOT locked into a contract. You are free to cancel your subscription at anytime.

    We must receive your cancellation request in writing at least three (3) days BEFORE your subscription is set to renew.

    To cancel, please email support@ibefound.nz and we will process your cancellation request within 1-3 business days. A confirmation email will be sent once processed.

  • Do I get a refund if I cancel my paid subscription?

    We offer a 14-day FREE trial period so that you can "try before you buy".

    If, within 14 days of purchase of a paid plan, you request a cancellation in writing, we will gladly refund your payment.

    NOTE: Refund does NOT cover any services already performed outside of the PageXtender platform such as on Facebook or on Google's various platforms.

  • What happens when I cancel my paid subscription?

    If you cancel your paid subscription, you will no longer be charged but you will continue to have access to your account until the end of the term of your subscription.

    Thereafter, your account will be put into locked mode for 180 days (i.e. 6 months). After which time, your FB-synced website and all its content will be completely deleted from our servers.

  • Can my account be completely deleted sooner?

    Absolutely! If you choose to cancel your paid subscription and want your website completely deleted right away, please request this in writing.

    Then we will permanently remove your account and related files from our servers.

    NOTE: Links to your website that have been indexed by Google may continue to show up in search results for some time before they finally disappear.
