Adapt to Your Theme and Colours

To make a Website that looks great and is practical, keep in mind where your Facebook content will be reflected on your website. This way you can choose what works best for your needs.

For example, when you choose what to write in your “About” section, consider the theme you are using. In some themes (Nova, Continuum, Saturn, Cascade), your Facebook Page’s short description is placed on your homepage over or below the background picture.

If you write too long of a description, it may end up looking cramped or covering your background picture entirely, as it does in this example using the “Nova” theme:

Because the text shows up on top of the background image, make sure your text color doesn’t make it difficult to read, as it does in the Continuum theme here:

Your website is a work in progress, so you can experiment with different settings until you find what works best for you! Try using the “Preview” feature in the Design Template to help decide which option is best for you.
